Combine free motion machine embroidery with raw-edge applique for a whimsical project. Just like doodling with a pencil on paper, there are no rules. Make your doodle into a zipper pouch, pillow, or quilt block. All you need is free motion/darning foot and a sewing machine that can drop its feed dogs.

Supplies Needed:
-Sewing machine w/ foot pedal, power cord, bobbin case & bobbins, and needles
*your machine must be able to drop its feed dogs
-free motion or darning foot
-Basic sewing kit (thread, pins, seam ripper, scissors, plus your own favorite essential sewing items)
-1/2 yard Pattern-Ease stabilizer
-1 scrap fat quarter for practice
-1 fat quarter flat cotton or felt for your background
-scraps for raw edge applique
-contrasting thread for doodling
