You've always wanted to make clothes for yourself and now you can! We'll be making the Roundabout Blouse, a pattern by Anna Maria Horner. In the process you'll learn how to read clothing patterns, the basics of fitting, and techniques like pleating and gathering. Experience the satisfaction of wearing something you've made, not to mention all the compliments you'll get!
skill level: beginner, familiar with sewing machine
taught by: Jo Thomas
Supplies Needed:
-Sewing machine w/ foot pedal, power cord, bobbin case & bobbins, and needles
-Basic sewing kit (straight pins, seam ripper, fabric scissors, plus your own favorite essential sewing items)

--waistband & sleeveband:
if using 45" wide fabrics: 3/8 yard
if using 54" wide fabrics: 3/8 yards
(You may use the same print for all pieces if you wish)
-Matching thread
-3 yards pre-made bias tape or 5/8 yard of fabric to make your own (this will not show from the outside of the blouse)
*We will be making the blouse version, as in blue, not the version shown on the front of the pattern.
