Get ready… Suppose is in our first shop hop ever! At just the time of year when you could use a little road trip, the Rocky Mountain Quilt Fever shop hop is the perfect reason to escape. The theme this year is “Songs on the Trail”… put April 22-May 7 on your calendar!
If you’ve never attended a shop hop before, here’s how it works. You can start at any of the 11 shops in the hop where you’ll get a passport. Each shop you visit will have festivities & prizes, along with a free bracelet charm and a free quilt block pattern so that you can make a sampler quilt. You’ll also get your passport stamped at each shop, and if you make it to all 11, you can enter your passport in a drawing to win the grand prize. It’s a pretty sweet bounty– a quilt retreat for 8 people plus a huge gift basket. Can you imagine? What a dream! There are also a bunch of runner-up prizes including gift certificates, and baskets full of goodies from your favorite notion & fabric makers. Kids can even get their own passports and be entered to win the junior prize basket.
We are the southernmost shop, and the hop extends up to Rexburg on the North, through Jackson Hole, and to Pinedale, Wyoming on the East. The hop goes for more than two weeks so even if you split your traveling up between 2 weekends you can make it to every single shop. Sounds like it’s time to gather your guild friends & sewing buddies and start the debate over who’s car is most comfy.
